German Design Award 2023 for ZIM
ZIM's design is one of the winners for Industrial Design 2023
The family of train information monitors (ZugInfoMonitore - ZIM) is based on a design proposal that was developed on behalf of DB by the company unit-design in Frankfurt am Main. This year, the design was awarded the German Design Award. We are pleased about this and congratulate unit-design warmly and say thank you for the good cooperation in the voting and selection of the various design proposals.
With a team of colleagues, BLIC supports DB Station&Service GmbH in developing and procuring a marketable device from the design templates. In the meantime, more than 1,700 ZIMs in various designs are already in operation at stations across Germany.
