In 2005, MVG started to create the conditions necessary for the use of the DIVA system developed by Mentz Datenverarbeitung GmbH for timetable planning and duty rostering, and of personnel deployment software from the Trapeze Group. As a preparatory measure, the existing operational procedures in the areas of journey and duty planning and personnel deployment were analyzed, assessed and restructured. BLIC supported MVG’s management in these tasks. The following topics were examined in detail and sets of rules for future processing were produced:
