Project description:

As per order given in February 2009 a Real Time Passenger Information System including 640 Displays (LEDs and TFTs) should be tendered, while the implementation of 52” displays in 10 Metro Stations had to be finished until Metro Opening 09/09/09. The realization in 6 months (start of RFT Design until Installation) has successfully been done.

The whole project includes the implementation of

  • 400 20“ displays in A/C shelters
  • 100 52“ displays in 50 Metro Stations at bus waiting areas
  • 90 4-line LED displays at 15 open air Bus Stations
  • 50 37” displays in 5 new closed Bus Stations
  • Control units for each display (mostly integrated in display unit)

as well as the Software Implementation including

  • Extension of AVM server by RTPI Server software
  • Software on control units to connect displays tot he RTPI Server

The Installation and approval of one display of each type as well as the implementation at Metro 09/09/09 has been completed. The project management for the next steps is still open.
